We believe it's important to start with dialog. This helps determine whether there are areas in which an innovation company like ours can be of value to your company. Together, we can then decide on the first products and establish a format for cooperation around those ideas.

We aim for a lasting relationship that helps deliver success after success for your new product launches.

AI's strength is in the experience we have gained from working with a range of different industries. This means we are able to give you invaluable insight into product development. Our input can help reduce the production and maturation costs of your products, as well as deliver higher returns from them.

When we deal with clients, we set clear milestones. The procedure is as follows:

Initial meeting

What we do: Before the meeting, we study in detail your industry and the challenges it faces. The focus of the meeting itself is to see whether cooperation is possible.

What we expect from clients: We expect to be briefed openly and honestly about the challenges you face and your company's competitive situation.

Our business model: The initial meeting is free. It is the basis for finding common ground and building a cooperative framework.


Choosing the first products

What we do: We will recommend first targeting one or two main products. Innovation can't be created on an assembly line. We want to focus initially on products that can be finalized and launched quickly. We do, however, sometimes recommend developing several products in the same product category.

What we expect from clients: We expect our customers to participate actively in this stage of the process to maximise the sales potential of the product.

Our business model: AI receives a royalty payment from product sales. Our partners sometimes seek a little extra help from us, in which case we charge on a per-project or hourly basis, or else tie our fees to future royalties.


Agreement on commercial terms

What we do: We ensure the products are patented or design protected in the markets we agree on entering. We also offer our expertise in making the products as saleable as possible. AI has responsibility for protecting IP and also for participating in the process of product maturation.

What we expect from clients: We expect our customers to participate actively in this process and vocalize the expectations you have of us. It's important from the outset to have our mutual expectations clearly defined so that all parties will be satisfied.

Our business model: At the initiation phase of the project we will sign a contract. In that agreement, we jointly detail which services AI will do in return for the royalty payment. AI receives payment after the product is launched and sold. At this stage, we also agree on which services AI will provide on an hourly or per-project basis.


Product maturity and in-sale

What we do: In this phase, the roles are reversed. AI goes from being the controlling partner to being an advisor and providing various types of input into the process. We evaluate your ideas and choice of strategy. Of course, we are also available for customer meetings and PR activities during launch.

What we expect from clients: We expect you to obtain offers from your subcontractors, handle product calculations and identify primary segments. This is where you can utilize your primary competences.

Our business model: The model for this stage of the process is agreed in the commercial phase. Costs in connection with customer meetings and PR activities are covered by the customer according to specified fees comparable with ones for employees in your own company.


Evaluation of the partnership

What we do: We expect clear feedback on the positive and negative aspects of the partnership and on sales issues. The partnership will benefit from a frank and open discussion, which will aid cooperation in the future.

What we expect from clients: We expect you to play with an 'open deck of cards' so that we gain the information needed to participate in further product development and maturity.

Our business model: This stage is covered by the main royalty payment. We see it as part of the service rendered.


Focus on further products and cooperation

What we do: AI will continually focus on developing new and innovative products for your sector. If we enter into a long-term partnership with you, we will of course give you access to these products.

What we expect from clients: We hope to continue with a dialogue so we can together identify the next products to focus on.

Our business model: The business model for new products follows the same procedure.


We work with clear commercial terms so that our customers understand the costs. We also specify the commercial framework and sign an agreement before initiating any work. After that, it's a question of getting down to work and launching new products.
